A message from Principal Benadi

Suffern High School Principal Kelly Benadi

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! It is an honor to serve as the principal of Suffern High School. I am excited to partner with our students, families, faculty, and staff as we begin a year of learning, growth, and opportunity.

Our theme this year is Mounties Show Up & Step Up. It reflects our commitment to create a school where every student is present, engaged, and prepared for the future. We believe student success begins with showing up every day, on time, ready to learn, and stepping up by taking responsibility, demonstrating integrity, and contributing positively to our school community.

Our work is guided by the Suffern Blueprint and the New York State Portrait of a Graduate, preparing students with the knowledge, skills, and character needed for success in college, careers, and life. Together, we are committed to developing academically prepared learners who are effective communicators, critical thinkers, creative innovators, global citizens, and reflective, future-focused individuals.

To support this vision, we are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and distraction-free learning environment where students can focus on learning, build meaningful relationships, and fully engage in the many academic, athletic, artistic, and extracurricular opportunities that make Suffern High School such a special place. When students are fully present, they are better equipped to learn, lead, and make meaningful contributions to our school community.

This website is designed to be a valuable resource for students and families. Throughout the year, you will find important announcements, school information, upcoming events, and resources to help you stay informed and connected. We encourage you to visit often and remain engaged in your child's high school experience.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education. Your partnership is essential to our success. Together, we will help every Mountie Show Up & Step Up each day and make the 2026–2027 school year one of growth, achievement, and connection.

Go Mounties!
