Five Suffern High School students headed to Rochester for the New York State School Music Association All-State Festival Ensembles! They earned this honor by scoring a 100 at their NYSSMA solo auditions—not only did they each earn a perfect score, but they did so competing in categories at the highest level of difficulty.
Suffern High School once again hosted a Public Speaking Tournament where speech and debate teams from North Rockland, Clarkstown North and South, Briarcliff Manor and Spring Valley high schools gathered to compete in poetry, prose, dramatic monologue, original oration and impromptu categories.
Suffern High School hosted their 46th annual Fitness Superstars Competition, where students who scored well on their Presidential Physical Fitness Test (the top 25 boys and 25 girls in each grade) are invited to compete against each other in the 40 yard dash, 600 yard run, standing broad jump, pull ups or arm hang and shuttle run.
